HURRICANE HARVEY update: Due to the disaster in Texas, there will be many displaced animals for a long time to come. Rescues in the Wichita area have mobilized to help the affected areas. The Wichita Animal Action League will host the grand opening of its Pet Adoption Center on Saturday at Towne West Square.
